ACS implements a meticulously designed Christian school curriculum that meets today’s standards of Bible-based education. Courses are supervised by skilled and experienced teachers in multi-age classrooms. All classes have a maximum of 15 learners, ensuring that instructors can attend to the unique learning needs of each student in their care.

VoWac Language and Institute for Excellence in Writing
VoWac (Vowel-Oriented Word Attack Course) uses multi-sensory strategies to assist students in reading, spelling, and decoding unfamiliar words. Improved writing skills and personalized instruction help students improve their communication to make a larger impact on an audience.

Special Learning Programs
Keyboarding: Students will have access to Chromebooks donated by generous sponsors.
Art and Music: Students will learn about various art forms, including playing the guitar, recording, singing, and music and media. Music classes focus on choral music and performances at school programs.
Physical Education: We teach students to love the Lord with their whole heart, mind, and strength. Our large field allows students to engage in a variety of outdoor games and sports.
Bible
Students will learn about God's Word through weekly scripture memory. Bible study focuses on various texts each year, including Old Testament narratives, Gospels, Acts of the Apostles, and the wisdom literature of Psalms and Proverbs.
Science - A Beka and Bob Jones
Our science classes are taught from a creationist worldview, but we are open to discussion and exploration. Sixth graders study general science with a Beka textbook while seventh and eighth graders study life science and earth science with Bob Jones University texts.
ACE Paces - Bob Jones
After receiving assessments of key skills, students are given self-paced learning packets tailored to fill any content gaps and then progress from their level of competency.
History - Bob Jones and McGraw Hill
Our history courses focus on God and His truth throughout the ages.
English Language Arts - Institute for Excellence in Writing and Mosdos Press Literature
We teach our students to write with structure and style and to respond critically to a wide range of literature.
Fine Arts
Students will explore various means of artistic expression from studio art, dramatic performance, choral lessons, and photography.
Physical Education and Technology Skills
Students will develop keyboarding and word processing skills to prepare for high school courses.

Literature: Textword Press and Institute for Excellence in Writing
English Foundations | World Literature | American Literature | British Literature | Honors World Literature.
Much of the coursework is novel-based with supplemented material from the Implications of Literature series by Textword Press. Students will learn to consistently apply a Christian worldview to texts they will encounter into adulthood. Our writing program is consistent from elementary school to high school and focuses on academic writing and literary essays.
Science: Apologia and Bob Jones
Our science program includes Apologia's Exploring Creation with Physical Science, Chemistry, and Physics as well as a strong emphasis on Biblical principles. Students will explore real-world experiments and will also perform regular dissections of animals such as pig, sheep, and fish with Bob Jones Biology.

Students can enjoy dual enrollment with Grand Canyon University and Internet Academy for online or credit recovery courses.
Life Practicum
Students will learn life applications for Biblical living in areas ranging from interpersonal relationships to tithing and life skills.
We believe Christian schools and homeschool families have the same goal of raising and educating strong leaders who will change the community with the love of God. We provide supplemental opportunities for homeschoolers in Arlington, WA,
and the surrounding areas.
Classes are available for grades 7 through 12.
